Membership Privileges
The following list of privileges for each type of membership will help new members select the membership that fits their needs.
All members have voting rights, rifle range privileges and are encouraged to be active in the welfare of the Gun Club.
- FAMILY MEMBERSHIP: Initial fee is $200.00 and it covers the family (children 18 and under). The member
will receive the combination to the lock on the rifle range if a member is in good standing. They have access to all
facilities of the Club, use of the Club House for private social events at any time by scheduling it with an officer
(to avoid any conflicts). Children may join the Club for $50.00 at age 16 - 18 with a parent signature or at age 19.
They will be considered a non-member at age 19. They can use the trap and rifle range, but must pay for targets. The
member will be scheduled to a work schedule and is expected to help out on special events. Trap shooting is $3.50 for
practice and $3.50 for league. The original Charter Members are in a class by themselves with all privileges and lower
shooting rates.
- WORK SCHEDULE: Members on the work schedule are to work on Thursday evenings, helping with the trap shooting
events. They are expected to arrive at 6:30 PM to set up the traps, load targets in the traps and prepare for trap
shooting by 7:00 PM. They are to clean up after trap shooting and close down the traps. They will be supported
by Club House and League managers, who will be responsible for the activities inside the Club House. In the event
of a special program and by the luck of the draw, the members work schedule begins on Sunday and ends on Saturday
surrounding the date of their scheduled day of work, they are expected to help or arrange someone to take their place.
If a member fails to fulfill the work schedule obligation, a fine of $25.00 will be assessed. Members who's fines are 60
days or more in arrears will have membership rights suspended. The 60 day period begins when a fine letter is mailed. |
